BitDefender Internet Security v10 is an incremental improvement over the last version—there are no radical changes to the suite, but it shows small enhancements in many different areas. And it moves backward in at least one respect. BD has not only still not bought into the green/yellow/red status model so many suites (Norton, McAfee, and CA, to name a few) now use, it has actually removed the overall-status page found in version 9. If the tooltip says that some modules are disabled, you'll have to step through them all to find out which. In traditional BitDefender style, most of the features hide a vast number of configuration options below the surface, offering technical information far beyond the understanding of the average user. Fortunately, it works fine in default configuration, so you can hide the too-technical features if you wish.
